Understanding Design Elements
In order to identify the most relevant factors or elements to tackle for our project, we had to first understand what design elements were. This term was first not well understood by team members of this project therefore, we made a literature search for this term and had a co-creation session with our partners in order to appropriately establish a vivid understanding of the term.

The following are the steps used to establish an understanding of design elements.
-
General search for the meaning of design thinking.
-
Institutional search of the term design thinking - the basic design elements are lines, shapes, color, texture and spaces.
-
Aligned understanding of design elements to the design elements of a Digital Educational Escape Room (DEER).
-
Co-creation session for a consensus understanding of a DEER design element.
-
Reviewed literature on Digital Educational Escape Room (DEER).
-
Cleaned literature data using Microsoft Excel and Miro board.
-
Design elements for a DEER was identified.
